Rolls-Royce and MTU products to be presented at OTC

The MTU Series 4000 T95 Tier 4 final engine will be on display in the Rolls-Royce / MTU exhibit at OTC 2017.

Rolls-Royce will feature the latest technologies from MTU and Rolls-Royce on Booth #2261 for onshore and offshore oil and gas applications at the 2017 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) from May 1 – 4 at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. The exhibit will feature the MTU Series 4000 Bi-Fuel Kit, the 12V 4000 T95 EPA Tier 4 engine and advanced technology for next generation vessels from Rolls-Royce. The MTU brand is part of Rolls-Royce Power Systems.

Dresser-Rand business to supply turbine generator sets for Egypt's Zohr gas field

The SGT-400 model is considered the most efficient gas turbine in its performance class. This high efficiency lowers fuel consumption and thus operating costs.

The Dresser-Rand business received an order from Egypt-based Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel) for three model SGT-400 industrial gas turbines, including associated electrical generators. The total order value is in the double-digit million euros range.

New "brilliant factory" breaks ground in Ontario

Premier Kathleen Wynne and the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Federal Minister of International Trade, joined GE global executives and representatives from Welland and the Niagara Region in a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the start of construction for GE’s multimodal “Brilliant Factory” in Canada. The facility is expected to create 220 jobs with operations commencing in early 2018. The first phase of the investment is US$165 million.

Caterpillar selected by Jerrywon Energy and Yantai Jereh to provide Thirteen Gas Engines in Yanchang’s pilot gas compression project

Caterpillar Oil & Gas has announced that a total of thirteen Cat G3600 and G3500 gas engines have been selected by China’s leading gas OEMs – Yantai Jereh Oilfield Services Group CO., Ltd and Beijing Jerrywon Energy Equipments CO., Ltd. These engines provide a combined power of 12,877 kW and will drive gas compressors in Yanchang, China. The Cat gas engines will be fully operational in October 2016.
