ISA Calgary features keynote on urban mobility

ISA Calgary Section, in partnership with dmg :: events, the organizers of the Global Petroleum Show, brings together more than 5,000 registered ISA professionals and 200 exhibitors from 8 visiting countries for a two-day Expo and Conference on April 19-20, 2017 at Stampede Park.  The show features innovative technology, educational program and networking events for a broad range of industry professionals.

Ramit Kar, General Manager for Uber Western Canada, will deliver a keynote presentation on “The Future of Urban Mobility” on April 19 at 9am in the Centre Court (Exhibition Hall).  On day two visitors will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive townhall discussion on Cybersecurity sponsored by KPMG with key industry panelists from Shell, GE, Bennett Jones, Enbridge, Darktrace and Check Point.  The townhall discussion on “Identifying and Managing Various Cybersecurity Challenges in an Increasingly Hostile World” covers topics like security posture, cyber insurance and effectiveness.  Knowledge Bars provide visitors with the free access to quality presentations such as “Microsoft Industrial IoT”, “Managing Growth with Technology”, “Industrial Remote Access” and many others.  

Mike Iuliano , ISA Calgary 2017 Show Chair credits the show for being “instrumental in providing companies with a platform to present their innovations and share the knowledge gained in the field. New products being displayed like Optimass 2400, Coriolis Mass flowmeter, Nvision reference recorder and DH3 wireless gateway will be a major attraction to visitors this year.”
