AW-Lake introduces analog output sensor for flow meter with bluetooth connectivity

AW-LAKE COMPANY introduces the FAC-S Analog Output Sensor that hardwires with any flow meter to provide voltage, current or Bluetooth connectivity of readings.  Ideal for use on any AW-Lake Gear or Turbine Flow Meter, the FAC-S produces a scalable voltage or current output for download to a PLC or other control system.  The sensor also supports a Bluetooth interface for remote programming and flow monitoring from a smart phone.  The microprocessor-based FAC-S Sensor supports process monitoring, data acquisition and signal conditioning in various industries.

SPX FLOW: Reliable, long service strainers and filters

From its Dollinger range, SPX FLOW offers the highly efficient LL-142 liquid filters, which are engineered to remove final traces of dirt, pipe scale and other solids from process liquids. They use a radial fin element design to maximize the effective filtration area, which is up to 10 times bigger than equivalent tubular type cartridge filters. This minimizes pressure drop across the filter and increases its dirt holding capacity, thereby extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.

NewTek expands LVDT line with non-contacting analog rotary position sensors

Comparing position sensor technology for hydraulic cylinder feedback

As the demand for increased control and functionality has increased over the years, sensor- instrumented cylinders are becoming more important in the heavy industry, subsea, and mobile equipment worlds.
