Siemens was recently selected to provide one feed and sales gas train and one refrigeration compression train for Encana's Pipestone Processing Facility in Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada. Designed to accommodate future capacity expansion, the Pipestone Processing Facility will provide Encana with 19,000 barrels per day of net raw condensate processing capacity plus 170 million cubic feet per day of net inlet natural gas processing capacity. Keyera will own the Pipestone Processing Facility and provide processing services to Encana. The Facility will have total processing capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day and is expected to start up in 2021.

Rolls-Royce has received its first order in China for Series 4000 MTU engines fulfilling EPA Tier 4 final emissions regulations. Key customer Jereh Petroleum Equipment has ordered 16 engines of type 12V 4000 T95 for new fracturing pump equipment. Jereh plans to sell the equipment which fulfils EPA Tier 4 regulations on the US Oil & Gas market. The contract was signed between Jereh and MTU with MTU's Oil & Gas distributor in China, China Diesel Support Services (CDSS), during the China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE).
Caterpillar currently is developing productive, fuel-efficient, power-dense, EU Stage V-compliant engines across its industrial product line, from the two-cylinder C0.5, to the 12-cylinder, 32-litre C32. Goals for Cat Stage V engines include developing more efficient after-treatment systems, simplifying installation in OEM-customer machines, and providing added value for end users of OEM machines—through increased productivity, increased fuel efficiency, and exceptional reliability.
Rolls-Royce recently introduced the next-generation Series 2000 MTU Onsite Energy diesel generator set product line for the North American market (60Hz). With a power output range from 615 kWe to 1.250 kWe it expands the company's high-power range product portfolio and makes it the most inclusive factory line up in the industry. These new diesel generator sets are already available.

Rolls-Royce has acquired from G+L innotec the exclusive rights of use for a new technology for the electrically-assisted charging of off-highway combustion engines in the power range above 450 kW. The new invention from the development and engineering services provider based in Laupheim in southern Germany is protected by patents and has thus not been available on the market to date. Rolls-Royce plans to offer engines of its MTU brand with this technology as of 2021.
