EnergyIQ marks decade of well master data management solutions
EnergyIQ, a leader in Well master data management solutions for the oil and gas industry, is celebrating a decade of helping clients improve organizational efficiency, productivity and effectiveness based on the automated capture, management, and delivery of the most trusted data.
As one of a handful of companies offering enterprise data management tailored to the oil and gas industry, EnergyIQ has achieved sustained organic growth over its 10-year history. Founded by Dr. Steve Cooper, EnergyIQ has grown to over 35 employees with offices in Houston, Calgary and the Denver area.
"It is humbling to realize that EnergyIQ is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and today is providing critical data management solutions to a large number of oil and gas companies", said Dr. Cooper. "Over the past decade, our TDM platform has evolved from a simple commercial data loader to where we now automate the integration of master data from many different sources across the full Well lifecycle, capture and apply business knowledge in the form of embedded business and data quality rules, and present the most trusted data to users across the organization in the form of visualization, reports, dashboards, and more. The solutions we provide have a direct and measurable impact to the success of our clients."
EnergyIQ's solutions are used by both large integrated and small independent oil and gas operators seeking to improve workforce efficiency, productivity and profitability by enabling experts to use data rather than manage it. Over the years, the company has established a culture of innovation within the company to solve the difficult problems that competitive solutions ignore.
Mike Skeffington, EnergyIQ's COO, continued, "We have been impacted by the same industry highs and lows as our clients over the last ten years, and have witnessed major developments in all types of technology as companies adapt to changing market conditions and evolving political and social climates. We see the pace of technological change accelerating and recently published a white paper, ‘The Digital Journey', that presents the results of many months of research to identify future trends and align our product roadmap in response."
EnergyIQ's CTO, Mike Haden, who has been with the company almost from the outset, said, "It is important to remember our goal remains to deliver the most trusted data to the business in the most effective way to make high-quality decisions. We continue to invest heavily in emerging technology as a tool that can be applied to automate key processes, manage ever-increasing volumes of data, and optimize workflows through analytics and AI. Technology by itself cannot replace the need for trusted data through the application of strong governance and business rules derived from many years of domain experience."
Steve Cooper concluded, "It has been an honor and a privilege to provide business critical solutions to our clients over the last 10 years. I believe our continued success is due to a strong and stable leadership team, a deep understanding of oil and gas data management, a lot of hard work, and, most importantly, very supportive clients. We are more excited than ever about our future as we continue to drive innovation through the application of emerging technology, decades of domain knowledge, and pragmatic experience to solving the most difficult information challenges."
