Baghouse filter software

FilterWare for baghouses and other types of fabric filter dust collection systems such as pulse jet cartridge collectors enables improved process control, maintenance planning and automated EPA reporting turn-key compliant to 40 CFR 63 while simultaneously providing plants with other return on investment capabilities such as reduced operating costs and down time prevention. The software provides process control and visualization, report generation and remote services. The software interfaces with the company’s range of diagnostic baghouse controllers, intelligent pulse jet timers, particulate monitors and filter leak/broken bag detectors as well as third party instrumentation and controls. Stand alone and plant-wide systems are available. Other benefits include greater productively from personnel.

Continuous Emissions Monitor for stacks

Particulate CEM (Continuous Emissions Monitor) meets environmental regulations such as US-EPA MACT and other standards such as ASTM D22 for monitoring particulate emissions from fabric filter baghouses, cartridge-type dust collectors, cyclones and some ESPs (electrostatic precipitators). Particulate levels down to at least 0.1mg/ m3 can be monitored. The company’s non-optical charge induction-sensing and protected-probe technologies are said to ensure reliable measurements in all types of tough environments including cement, power, steel, carbon black, asphalt plants, incinerators, lead smelters, chemical and pharmaceutical dryers. The system features the latest in DSP technology for advanced signal analysis and automatic self checks to meet required EPA instruments standards. The device also offers lower level monitoring and higher accuracy than opacity meters with less maintenance and simpler installation.

The continuous particulate emission monitor and baghouse leak detector incorporates automatic self-checks and signal diagnostics to improve performance and to eliminate manual calibration audits as required by the US-EPA for MACT and CAM regulations of fabric filter dust collectors. The addition of smart sensing technology to the company’s field-proven induction-sensing and protected-probe technologies is also said to provide enhanced reliability over older opacity and triboelectic technologies, particularly in difficult applications such as coal, steel, cement, carbon black, lead smelters, chemical plants and pharmaceutical spray dryers.
