Easily integrated liquid level sensors

Designed to operate as a slave device, MNU series ultrasonic sensors are self-contained and measure distance, level or volume with a standard Modbus RTU protocol (RS-485) output.

Durable sensor display

Automation Products Group, Inc. introduces the MND Modbus Network Display. This intuitive and flexible IP67 display can operate in sniffer or master mode to locally display volume, level, distance and/or pressure readings from any of the up to 10 sensors in a Modbus RTU network. Numerous user-selectable standard or custom units of measure are available. Readings are presented as a full 5-digit display with large 0.4 in. characters for at-a-glance readability.

PT-400 Pressure Transducers now ATEX and IECEx certified for use in hazardous locations

PT-400 Heavy Duty Pressure Transducers from Automation Products Group, Inc. (APG) have received ATEX and IECEx certification, rated EX II 1G Ex ia IIB T4 Ga, for use in hazardous locations throughout the world. With all stainless steel laser welded construction, these pressure transducers deliver reliable high pressure sensing in harsh environments that are prone to high shock and vibration and high pressure spikes throughout a wide range of operating temperatures. A larger size (5.3 in. tall by 1.5 in. wide) PT-400 pressure transducer, ideal for oil and gas applications, is also now available.

Loop powered ultrasonic sensors

LPU-2428 loop powered ultrasonic level sensors are now CSA certified for use in Class I, Div. 1, Groups C and D, and Class I, Zone 0, Group IIB hazardous locations. Class I, Div. 1, Group C, and Class I, Zone 0, Group IIB atmospheres contain ethyl-ether vapours, ethylene, or cyclopro-pane. Class I, Div. 1, Group D atmospheres contain gasoline, hexane, naptha, benzene, butane, propane, alcohol, acetone, benzol, lacquer solvent vapours or natural gas. LPU-2428 sensors feature microprocessor control to internally perform volume, flow, and totalization calculations. They provide a one- to 25-foot (0.3 to 7.62 m) detection range on liquids and a one- to 10-foot (0.3 to 3.0 m) detection range on solids.
