Weidmuller introduces a new addition in the Klippon Connect portfolio of products and services for panel building- maxGUARD. With maxGUARD, the electronic load monitoring ELM devices combined with distribution terminal blocks can be customized to provide selective load protection in 24V DC power distributed systems for industrial automation applications. With combining load monitoring and potential distribution into one complete solution, this offers users time-savings during installation, increased safety against failure, and DIN-rail space savings while being highly service friendly.

Weidmuller is the leading provider of solutions for the transmission of power, data and control signals in industrial environments. The company develops, produces and sells industrial electronics, network infrastructure components and connectivity solutions such as Wireless Solutions, Industrial Ethernet, Relays, Power Supplies, I/O modules, printed circuit board connectors, terminal blocks and complete DIN Rail assemblies. The Weidmuller group has a strong international focus with manufacturing and sales locations in over 70 countries.
Weidmuller introduces a new portfolio of selected energy monitoring components for energy consumption measurement, monitoring and integrated quality analysis of electrical supply networks. Designed for production facilities both large and small, Weidmuller's modular and scalable solution provides energy monitoring at all levels from the grid connection to production lines and machines, down to the individual machine modules. The product portfolio includes the Energy Logger D550, Energy Analysers Series and the Energy Meters Series, all fully integrated with Weidmuller's ecoExplorer software for visualization, analysis, and remote access and operation.
Weidmuller expands its u-remote Remote I/O product portfolio with two new IO-Link Master modules - IP20 and IP67. These new IO-Link Master modules use the IO-Link open standard (IEC 61131-9) serial communication protocol to connect and communicate data to and from sensors and actuators. This increased transparency down to the sensor-actuator level helps improve diagnostics and efficiency, increase machine availability, and reduce downtime.
Weidmuller expands their Klippon TB (Terminal Box) range of hazardous area steel enclosures with the introduction of three new versions – the MH (Multi-Hinge), QL (Quarter-Lock) and FS (Fixed-Screw). These new enclosures feature a range of approvals that include cULus, AEx, ATEX and IECEx ratings, making them suitable for use in Class 1/Division 2 and Class 1/Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22.
Weidmuller has introduced their new universal conversion/migration platform for updating legacy DCS systems to any new control system. Their uniquely designed solution permits existing field wiring to remain in place and undisturbed on the front panel adaptor, eliminating the need to wire-trace or ring-out. This reduces the DCS conversion time from weeks to just hours and helps provide a substantial cost savings.
Weidmuller has announced the launch of their new family of high performance PROmax power supplies designed for the demanding needs of process heavy applications. PROmax power supplies feature start up at temperatures as low as -40°C, hazardous area approvals (UL, Class 1 Division 2) and a 300% power boost, making them an ideal choice for harsh environment applications that require maximum power.
Weidmuller’s new PROeco power supply range offers compact, cost-efficient designs and practical user features that make them a good choice for most factory and process installations. The range is available in both single- and threephase units that accept a wide range of AC/DC inputs. An auto-detect feature on each module makes switching between ranges unnecessary. Outputs with 12, 24 or 48 VDC are available for loads up to 40A. A tri-coloured LED provides local output status (indicating <90%/>90%/>100% load) and integral relay contacts provide remote status monitoring for easy detection and diagnosis of power issues.
Weidmuller has introduced its BasicLine, ValueLine and PremiumLine switches. This new series features a full line of Unmanaged, Lean Managed and Fully Managed switches with a variety of options for Gigabit, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Media conversion. These rugged, industrial grade solutions include high quality IP30 rated metal housings, vibration-resistant construction, hazardous area approvals and extended operating temperatures from -40 to +60 degrees C.
Weidmuller’s ACT20X range of intrinsic safety signal conditioners includes modules that can convert and isolate digital signals to and from hazardous areas, as well as versions that isolate and drive digital actuators. Weidmuller’s ACT20X range includes two types of digital modules – Pulse Isolators and Actuator Drivers. Pulse Isolators accept digital inputs from field equipment within a hazardous area. These include Namur and relay status and frequency signals from flow, pressure or level switches, and proximity sensors for position or motor speed measurements. Weidmuller
The T-SERIES is a new generation of high performance, DIN-rail mounted single-phase power supplies designed to work reliably even under the most demanding conditions. A high power reserve guarantees reliable start-up of loads with high inrush currents such as motor starting applications. Excellent electrical specifications and high immunity against fluctuations in input voltage make these compact modules the best choice to power sensitive loads in industrial process control systems, machine tools or other demanding industrial applications. Weidmuller’s T-SERIES single-phase power supplies are available in nine models, ranging from 12VDC through 48VDC output voltage, and up to 25A output currents. These voltage ranges enable the T-SERIES supplies to be used in virtually any single-phase application.
