There’s no match for the Carhartt FR patch. Among all flame-resistant clothing manufacturers, only Carhartt has been making workwear since 1889. This hard-earned experience shows in hard-working flame-resistant clothing that’s made of premium FR fabric and built Carhartt strong with features like triple-stitched main seams and heavy-duty hardware. All styles are sized for easy movement and outfitted for FR with features like Nomex® FR zipper tape, protective flaps and arc-resistant closures. As a result, Carhartt FR clothing meets industry standards such as NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112 and NESC. If you work in a job where you’re at risk of flash fires or electric arc flashes, know that Carhartt makes a full line of FR clothing for your line of work. It includes coats, jackets, jeans, overalls, shirts and sweats, in women’s styles, too. Whichever garment you choose, wear it with confidence. With Carhartt FR, you’ll sweat the work, not the risk.

No matter the job, durability, comfort and compliancy are key work wear characteristics that are crucial for workers to stay comfortable on the job site – especially for those workers who are required to wear flame-resistant (FR) work wear. Over the years, FR work wear has developed a reputation of being “hot and heavy” on the job. The good news is that no matter the season, Carhartt’s FR work wear line offers workers product options in durable lightweight, mid-weight and heavy-weight work pants, jeans, tops, sweats, jackets, bibs and coveralls, all made from inherently FR fabrics to keep workers comfortable and compliant.
