Peristaltic pump for slurries and viscous fluids

Separating suspended solids from liquids before discharging to a sewer or water course can present a problem when materials won’t settle quickly.    Water Treatment Plants have overcome this obstacle by using Watson-Marlow peristaltic pumps in their flocculation process.   Downtime is eliminated due to their robust and reliable peristaltic pumps.  In a Watson-Marlow pump, nothing but the tube touches the fluid, eliminating the risk of the pump contaminating the fluid or the fluid contaminating the pump.  Fluid is drawn into the pump head and trapped between the rollers and the track.    The complete closure of the tube gives the pump its positive displacement action, preventing backflow and eliminating the need for check-valves when the pump is not running.    Able to run 24/7, the Watson-Marlow peristaltic pump is ideal for slurries, viscous, shear-sensitive and aggressive fluids.   They are easy to install and simple to operate.  In addition, up to EIGHT different tube sizes may be utilized in one pump.  It’s like having eight different sized pumps for the price of just one unit.  Available in Manual, Auto, SCADA and PROFIBUS control, Watson-Marlow pumps offer a million:1 flow range with 0.1 rpm accuracy.   Backed by their 5 year warranty Watson-Marlow pumps are more accurate and reliable than diaphragm pumps.

Pump for sodium hypochlorite

Watson-Marlow offers its 620 series pump for Sodium Hypochlorite, combining power and control for wastewater applications. The 620 hypochlorite pump features off-gassing to prevent vapour lock while maintaining +/- 0.1% accuracy in hypo metering.  Due to high accuracy level, the pumps allow for saving on chemical usage. The Sodium Hypochlorite Pump delivers market-leading flow rates at pumphead speeds that don’t compromise tube life.  With its extended performance, it can reliably deliver 50% more flow. The pump provides unrivaled performance with a control ratio of million:1.
