K-TEK’s Ac-cuTrak AT100 and AccuTrak AT200 mag-netostrictive liquid level transmitters have been certified for operation in SIL 2 (Safety Integrity Level 2) environments. The AccuTrak transmitters are the only magnetostrictive transmitters in the industry to be certified to the exacting IEC 61508 safety standard, according to K-TEK. This helps reduce risk at the process measurement level when implementing Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in process plant environments such as chemical plants, refineries and power plants. The AccuTrak AT100 is a high-accuracy, magnetostrictive level transmitter that can be directly inserted into the medium to be measured; the AccuTrak AT200 is an externally mounted, non-contact transmitter that can be attached to the K-TEK KM26 magnetic level gauge or other magnetic gauges to form a complete level measuring system. Both the AT100 and AT200 feature a modular, dual compartment design that separately houses wiring and electronics.

K-TEK introduces the Sure-Shot140XP explosion-proof, Smart Laser Level transmitter. The device is designed for precise level, distance, and position measurement of dry bulk solids, opaque liquids, and slurries in challenging environments. High performance optics include a measurement laser and an aiming laser to assist with alignment. The device is capable of measuring over extended distances, up to 240 feet (75 metres) with narrow beam. No beam divergence means no false echoes so accurate targetting is easy, even in silos or vessels that have complex internal structures or mixing equipment.
K-TEK announced the KM26 Magnetic Bargraph, a rugged, liquid level indicator designed for corrosive, flammable, and toxic environments. Part of the KM26 Magnetic Level Gauge family, the Magnetic Bargraph features a true hermetic seal that ensures no moisture ingress or build-up, both of which can significantly hinder indicator movement. The device’s rugged and durable 316 Stainless Steel housing eliminates the corrosion problems typically associated with low quality materials, making it suitable for such environments as offshore operations.
