Chromalox Tank Heating Systems are uniquely designed to heat large storage tanks located above or below ground and containing highly viscous fluids or heat sensitive materials. Chromalox offers uniquely designed electric heating systems for large storage tanks. The systems can be installed in above or below-ground tanks made of steel, concrete, or fiberglass.
Industrial Air Heaters
Chromalox industrial electric air heaters provide efficient, economical heat for commercial and industrial applications. Three basic types of heaters are convection, forced air and radiant, with combinations often used. They apply safe, clean, fast heat and their heavy-duty construction affords long, dependable service.
Chromalox circulation heaters are packaged units consisting of a screwplug or flanged immersion heater mounted in a thermally insulated heating chamber for efficient heating of a flowing medium by in-line or side-arm operation. Chromalox, has announced the availability of a new extreme duty model of its blower heater line. Called the CXH-XD blower heater, the new unit withstands corrosive and wet environments and is ATEX certified. It extends the capabilities of the company's CXH-A/EP models, which heat areas classified as hazardous locations to provide primary or supplementary heating for comfort or freeze protection.
Chromalox introduces new digital heat trace controller – model ITC with one or two circuits for hazardous or non-hazardous locations
Chromalox has announced that they will offer a new digital heat trace controller for use with constant wattage, mineral insulated or self-regulating heat trace cables. The model ITC Series intelliTRACE brand controller is designed for line or ambient sensing heat trace applications in hazardous (Class I, Division 2) or non-hazardous areas in industrial settings such as chemical processing, oil and gas exploration, and petrochemical processing.
