They enjoyed a variety of plenary sessions with insights from other relevant industry sectors, a multi-stream technical programme and exhibition. Operators, service providers, advisory and research firms and academia were all represented in the speaker line-up, which included Eldar Sætre, CEO, Statoil, Maria Moraeus Hannsen, CEO, Engie E&P, Kristin Halvorsen, CEO, Cicero and Terry A’Hearn, CEO, Scottish Environment Protection Agency.

Ideally timed and located, Society of Petroleum Engineers’ (SPE) Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE), will be in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center. An anticipated 10,000 oil and gas professionals will attend from across the world on September 28-30. The event will highlight more than 400 technical presentations and 300 exhibits which offer the latest technologies, best practices, and future trends of the exploration and production industry.
With only three weeks left to become part of the presentation line-up for this year’s SPE ICoTA European Well Intervention Conference, experts in well intervention are urged to submit an abstract on the topic and share the latest developments in the field with their peers.
