Honeywell and Wood will work together through the Honeywell Connected Plant platform to commercialize digital services that help refiners and petrochemical manufacturers make their operations safer, more efficient and more reliable.
To support a number of contract wins in Brazil and western Canada, Wood is establishing new in-country teams for its asset integrity solutions service offering. This expansion follows major successes in the region including provision of a downstream risk based inspection management program, as well as the development of subsea integrity management systems.
Husky Energy has awarded Wood Group a multi-million dollar contract to complete detailed engineering for the topsides of White Rose, a concrete gravity-based structure wellhead platform planned for offshore eastern Canada. The project includes procurement services and engineering design work.
Wood Group received the first project work authorization under a recently signed multiuse agreement with Suncor Energy, for work to be completed at its Firebag in-situ site in Alberta, Canada, approximately 120 kilometres northeast of Ft. McMurray.
